Lowering Your Cholesterol Level Naturally

Lowering your cholesterol level is your most important mission to achieve if you really concern about your health. But, to be specific here, I want to stress that we should lower our LDL cholesterol level but not HDL cholesterol level.

What is HDL and LDL Cholesterol?
Cholesterol is a type of fat (lipid), like waxy substance that produced by the liver. It is widely found in much high cholesterol food especially from animal sources. Cholesterol is used to build walls and create bile salts to help you digest fat. As Cholesterol cannot dissolved in the blood and that it must be transported to and out of cells by carriers called lipoproteins. Low density lipoprotein (LDL) is commonly known as “bad” cholesterol type, while high density lipoprotein (HDL) is known as “good” cholesterol.

What causes cholesterol level is high and what danger it is?
Under normal condition, LDL brings cholesterol to difference cells in the body that needs it. HDL cholesterol will do the work of ensuring the LDL level is low by transporting some cholesterol back to the liver for disposal. However, when the LDL cholesterol level is high, it will combine with other substances in the blood and start deposit and harden in arteries. This will cause the bloodstream in the arteries getting narrow. This is known as high cholesterol level.

There is no symptom of high cholesterol level. This is the why it cause high risk to our health as we don’t know that our cholesterol is high without any signs. When high cholesterol level is high, we are exposed to dangers of many critical diseases such as heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, etc.

What are the ways to lower our cholesterol?
Lowering our cholesterol to a healthy cholesterol level is easy. The most difficult is not how to lower your cholesterol but how to be disciplinary in following the healthy life style strictly.

Below are some examples but effective solution to lower your cholesterol level naturally:
• Start exercise every day
Start exercise for minimum period of 30mins daily. I suggest to have aerobic exercises, like jogging or fast walking, swimming, yoga, biking, climbing stair case, etc. These exercises are very good for building healthy heart.

• Change your eating habit to Low cholesterol diet plan
Eat more dietary fiber food like vegetables and fruits. More fibers in the food will help to lower your cholesterol level and improve your immune system also.

• Eat food that can raise HDL
Foods like fatty fish, dark leafy greens, walnuts, garlic, Avogadro can help to raise HDL cholesterol and indirectly help to lower our LDL cholesterol level also. However, the amount of this kind of foods must not be over taken as too high HDL is also not so good in balancing the cholesterol level. We still need LDL cholesterol to do its task.

Above are some tips on lowering your cholesterol level effectively. But how effective it is, you still need to “do it” constantly and then only can see the good outcome of it. However, if your cholesterol is too high, it is still better to consult your doctor to have some medication together along with above tips. Medication is good as controlling your cholesterol level at the urgent case in the short term. But it is still not the long term solution to control your cholesterol due to bigger side effect of medication.

So the best way are still lowering your cholesterol naturally with more exercises, more green vegetables and fruits and may be taking some natural organic supplement that has been already certified by FDA. Anyway, as I say, never over do with medication and supplement. The best way to lower your cholesterol is still starting your healthy life style from now on.
